St Mark’s Anglican Church Sadleir is set to host a new preschool centre, thanks to a $2.3 million State Government grant and a partnership with Christian childcare provider Integricare. This achievement, made possible through the collaborative efforts of SDG, Sydney Anglican Property (SAP), Integricare, and the Parish, exemplifies the innovative thinking fostered by SAP’s Urban Renewal Pilot Program (URPP), which aims to accelerate development on existing church sites, enhancing ministry facilities to support evangelism and community outreach, and generate sustainable funding sources for future projects.
While the new facility addresses a critical need for early learning services in south-western Sydney, it will also be used by the parish for various activities during weekday evenings and on weekends, enabling many new opportunities for ministry and community activities to take place on the church site.
