In partnership with Sydney Anglican Property, SDG provided concept development, consultation, and planning services to successfully secure Development Approval for a revitalised Anglican church campus in Toongabbie. Approved by the City of Parramatta in April 2022, the proposal supports a growing congregation by enabling the transformation of the site into a flexible ministry hub.
The approved plans include the demolition of the existing church hall, office, and car park to allow for a new 250-seat auditorium, expanded parking, and landscaped areas. The existing ministry dwelling is retained in the approved scheme to continue providing on-site accommodation. The design also features new indoor and outdoor children’s ministry areas, flexible offices, meeting rooms, and breakout spaces—expanding the site’s potential to support ministry and outreach throughout the week. In addition, the plans allow for a future preschool (STCA), strengthening opportunities for community connection.
