SDG has partnered with Jervis Bay Anglican Church and Sydney Anglican Property (SAP) to deliver a new church facility and ministry hub on a greenfield site at the entrance to Vincentia on the south coast of NSW. Situated opposite the shopping centre and local high school, the site offers excellent visibility and access for community connection and outreach. Initially, the church led the concept development and planning process, successfully achieving a Development Approval (DA) in March 2023 for a purpose-built facility to serve the growing congregation and wider community.

In December 2024, SDG submitted design modifications to simplify construction and align the project with the church’s budget. The revised plans better reflected existing site levels to reduce excavation, delivering a more efficient solution and achieving significant cost savings, while retaining all the core spaces of the original design.

The ministry hub will feature a 150-seat auditorium, foyer, kitchen, office, infant spaces, youth and meeting rooms, a crèche, and ample storage, supported by a 35-space car park to accommodate ministry growth.

This will serve as a permanent new home for the church, currently meeting in a nearby school, enabling a wide range of new ministries for children, youth, families, and seniors. The site also holds potential for future partnerships with community service providers such as Anglicare.
