SDG is pleased to announce that a Development Application (DA) has been lodged for the transformative mixed-use redevelopment of St Andrews Anglican Church in Lane Cove. This project is a collaboration between SDG, Plus Architecture, Traders In Purple (TIP), and Sydney Anglican Property (SAP), with aims to deliver a modern, community-focused development that enhances both housing availability and ministry facilities.
The proposed development will include a 400-seat auditorium, and 47 apartments - comprised of two three-plus-bedrooms, 30 three-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom apartments, as well as 145 carparking spaces. The site, strategically located at the corner of Finlayson Street and Rosenthal Avenue, is in close proximity to The Canopy, Lane Cove’s vibrant retail and dining precinct.
Ross Jones, Chief Executive of SAP, highlighted that this initiative is part of the Diocese’s Urban Renewal Program, which seeks to optimise existing property assets to serve the local community while providing ministry spaces for future generations.
