Christ Church Gladesville, including St Chad’s Putney, recently sold a large rectory on Pile St, Gladesville, to fund the redevelopment of their main site on Victoria Rd and other properties. This project, managed by SDG under Sydney Anglican Property’s Urban Renewal Pilot Program, will feature a large auditorium, new meeting rooms, kids and youth ministry spaces, early childhood education facilities, and housing.
The sale unlocks the potential of parish buildings, allowing for the creation of facilities, including a community hub, that will benefit both the church community and surrounding neighbourhoods. Planning is in the early stages, with concepts for the various sites currently under development.
