HAFF Funding Secured for Affordable Housing in Regents Park and Bankstown

Sydney Anglican Property (SAP), in partnership with SDG and Anglicare Sydney, has secured funding under Round 1 of the Federal Government’s Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) to deliver two transformative affordable housing projects in Bankstown and Regents Park. Together, the developments will provide nearly 260 new homes for seniors, essential workers, women over 55, and families affected by domestic violence. SDG led the funding submissions and continues to manage both projects through design and planning, in collaboration with SAP, Anglicare Sydney, and Plus Architecture.

The Bankstown project will deliver 185 apartments, a new church and ministry centre, an early learning centre, retail spaces, and community facilities. At Regents Park, 74 social housing apartments and shared spaces will support wellbeing and connection. These projects reflect SDG’s commitment to activating church land for long-term community impact through integrated housing, ministry, and support services.
