SDG, in partnership with Reitsma and Sydney Anglican Property (SAP), is progressing a new ministry centre for Life Anglican Church at a greenfield site in Marsden Park. Located in Sydney’s rapidly-growing north-west, the project is one of SAP’s pilot sites for the ‘Nucleus’ model of church design, which supports the efficient and cost-effective delivery of core high-utility spaces, such as worship, foyer, administration, youth, and kids’ areas. These are intentionally designed and located for adaptability and future expansion.
The original Development Application (DA), approved in 2021, proposed a staged build beginning with a 125-space car park, followed by a purpose-built worship and ministry facility. SDG is now leading efforts to deliver a revised DA that reflects the Nucleus framework, with target lodgement by mid-2025.
Life Anglican Church began gathering in Marsden Park in 2017 at a nearby Anglican school campus. The new facility on Excelsior Avenue will serve as a permanent base, supporting the church’s mission and enabling deeper connection with the local community.
