James is a property development professional with 20 years’ experience in retirement, aged care, health, education, and churches. He holds an MBA from the University of Wollongong, and a Bachelor of Construction Management from WSU. Prior to joining SDG, James worked for 13 years at a large Not-For-Profit aged care and retirement provider where he managed all facets of the project life cycle including site acquisition, planning, design, construction, and commissioning. He was at the forefront of innovative designs to ensure residents enjoyed optimum quality of life. James has also worked in commercial construction, experiencing a wide range of roles from labourer to Project Manager. This has given him a unique understanding of the construction industry from multiple viewpoints. James actively participates in his local church and is passionate about delivering high quality social infrastructure that benefits local communities.
