SDG is proud to announce a new mixed-use development that will transform the 1960s St Andrews Anglican Parish Centre in Lane Cove, 10km north of Sydney CBD. Part of a significant collaboration with Traders In Purple (TIP) and Sydney Anglican Property (SAP), this project will include a 400-seat auditorium, a minister’s residence, retail spaces, and 40 apartments, predominantly three-bedrooms, catering to families and downsizers.
SAP chief executive Ross Jones emphasized the project's alignment with the Diocese’s Urban Renewal Pilot Program, aiming to utilise existing properties for community benefit while ensuring sustainable church facilities. When approved, the project will boost housing availability and provide a state-of-the-art auditorium in Lane Cove's centre. Following acquisition of an adjacent property to enhance the project's scale, TIP plans to file a development application this year, with construction expected to commence in 2027.
